Your tasks:
- Opportunity to conduct high-level interdisciplinary research within the newly established DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre CRC/SFB 1752 “DYNAMO – Immediate Tumor Dynamics in Melanoma Therapy”, investigating the earliest mechanisms of therapy resistance in melanoma during the first days and weeks after therapy initiation (“DYNAMO Window”); further information: https://www.uni-due.de/crc1752/
- Work in Project C01 “Learning of early immunotherapy-induced phenoscapes through multi-omic spatio-temporal mapping”
- Characterization of murine melanoma models upon immunotherapy
- Data analysis with a particular focus on single-cell omic-related pipelines, multi modal data integration techniques and perturbation modelling
- Multi-ome sequencing
- Application of state-of-the-art single-cell and spatial omics techniques
- Presentation of scientific results at meetings and conferences
Your profile:
- You hold a Master or Diploma degree in molecular or medical biology or bioinformatics or related disciplines
- You are highly motivated to expand your knowledge in bioinformatics, single -cell/spatial biology, perturbation modeling, and precision medicine
- Ideally, you have prior knowledge and experience in cancer (melanoma) research and single-cell data analysis
- You are able to work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams
- You are proficient in spoken and written English
