Scope of duties

  • An exciting, research-oriented work environment in the Immunopharmacology Research Group (led by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kobold)
  • Opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge and clinically relevant field of research
  • Focus: Immunotherapy for cancer
  • Participation in externally funded research projects
  • Current research priorities in the field of cellular therapies
  • Independent planning and execution of scientific experiments
  • Regular processing and analysis of patient samples
  • Organization and coordination of laboratory procedures
  • Ordering and management of reagents and consumables
  • Breeding and management of mouse strains
  • Documentation and management of patient samples
  • Methodological training and supervision of medical doctoral students
  • Collaboration on the further development and optimization of established laboratory and research methods
  • Methods used: Cell culture, molecular biology methods, microscopy, real-time PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry (FACS), animal experimentation with mice, in particular: genotyping, establishment and management of tumor models, isolation and processing of spleen and bone marrow cells

Our requirements

  • Completed training as a BTA/MTLA/CTA/PTA or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to perform animal experiments with mice
  • Ideally, experience with molecular biology or immunology techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and meticulously, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Very good command of German and English; the language of the lab is exclusively English
