STUDENT ASSISTANT JOB (SHK) AT THE CHAIR OF SOCIAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY – UNIVERSITY OF COLOGNE

we are looking for a student assistant for the upcoming term (WS 2026/27) to support research that is currently conducted at the Chair of Social and Organizational Psychology at the University of Cologne. Our research revolves around attitudes, ambivalence, social judgment and the decision-making process (for more information see www.irisschneider.nl).
Start: As soon as possible, the position is initially limited to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Hours: 8-16 hours a week (to be discussed)
Remuneration: 15,20€ per hour, in accordance with the university’s internal guidelines for the employment and remuneration of academic and student assistants.
Your tasks:
You will support all phases of the research process, such as:
- Idea generation
- Literature review
- Data collection and analysis
- Presenting findings in various forms
Your profile:
- Good knowledge of English
- Strong interest in research
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Prior experience with statistical software and/or coding (e.g., R) is an advantage
- You must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Germany
- Preferably in Management, Psychology, (behavioral) Economics, Sociology or similar study programs
