- Editorial support and maintenance of digital communication channels (newsletter, website)
- Contributing to program development for internal network events as well as external formats (e.g., Circular Week and the RWTH Impact Festival)
- Assisting with the preparation of funding applications
- Developing suggestions for improving and further developing the CCE's work
- General tasks arising at the institute
What We Offer
The successful candidate will be employed as a student assistant.
The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term of 12 months.
A long-term cooperation is highly desired
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 8 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 15.20 euros per hour.
Your Profile
We are looking for a student assistant who is currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences to support our team for the CCE. You should bring the following competencies:
- Motivation, commitment, and interest in the circular economy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of circular economy / sustainability (prior experience helpful but not required)
- Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
- Advanced knowledge of the German and English language, written and spoken
Our Profile
The Center for Circular Economy (CCE) (https://www.cce.rwth-aachen.de/cms/~othcg/cce/?lidx=1) is a network organization at RWTH Aachen University that brings together interdisciplinary research institutes, with the goal of pushing forward developments for a circular economy. The CCE initiates research consortia, communicates funding opportunities, organizes workshops and events, and strengthens the visibility of circular economy within and beyond the university. We are looking for a student assistant to support the communication and coordination within the CCE.
