We are looking to support our rapidly growing team as soon as possible: Technicial Assistant (f/m/x) - Core Unit Flow Cytometry (Durchflusszytometrie) Central Core Facilities (CCF) - Flow Cytometry Core TV-L: 19,25 h/week (50%) limited until December 31.12.2023 within the framework of a -funded project Your salary will be based on TV-L EG 9b TV-L: 19,25 h/week (50%) limited until December 31.12.2023 within the framework of a -funded project Your salary will be based on TV-L EG 9b Your tasks Conducting daily/weekly routines on flow cytometry devices Execution of and support in establishment of high-parameter flow cytometry panels (cell culture, sample preparation, stainings) Working with infectious human and murine sample material under respective safety regulations (BSL-1 to BSL-3**) Close collaboration with external and internal users of the facility Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and device-specific error trees and SOPs Organization, coordination and continuous optimization of daily lab tasks (ordering, inventory check-ups, buffer preparations, device management) Your profile You hold a degree as BTA, MTA or Biologielaborant/in or a similar technical qualification in biology or related life-science fields Ability for well-structured and independent work with an eye for details and a high quality standard Profound expertise in multi-color flow cytometry and cell culture Background in immunology is a plus/desired Experience in flow cytometry-based cell sorting Experience with flow cytometry data analysis tools (i.e. FlowJoTM) is appreciated Excellent personal and communication skills (German appreciated, English mandatory, both spoken and written) Our offer Everything but ordinary: You can expect a secure job in a challenging, innovative environment – including company pension schemes and regular working hours without business trips. Improve your expertise in training courses and seminars to be able to support flow cytometric analyses and the conduct of high-performance cell sorting. The facility contains well-equipped laboratories within biosafety levels (BSL) 1, 2 and 3**.
