Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) – Medical Department for Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy

The Faculty of Medicine is an integral part of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and cooperates with the Magdeburg University Hospital A.ö.R. in research, teaching and patient care.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct a translational research in the field of tumor immunology
• Apply and further develop cellular and molecular biology methods
• Work with preclinical in vitro and in vivo models
• Supervise and mentor MSc/MD/PhD students
• Collaborate with national and international research partners
• Present your results at scientific meetings
• Publish your findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals

Your Profile:

• PhD in biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine, or a related discipline
• Strong Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Proven hands-on experience in tumor immune biology, metabolism, genetic engineering, or in vivo experimentation
• FELASA B or C certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Sell-motivated, team-oriented, with excellent scientific integrity and work ethic
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken): German is not required
